Beginning May 1st, KATS will be adjusting to a new bus route schedule, going from five bus routes to four. No changes are being made to KATS’ Dial-A-Ride ADA/65/Job Assist programs. You can view the new routes HERE opens in a new window.

For the entire month of May, KATS will be offering free rides for bus passengers so riders and drivers will have the time and patience to familiarize themselves with the new routes.

Notice of Service Change

Until further notice:

KATS buses will be closed daily from 12:30 – 1:30pm
for additional cleaning precautions.

New Bus Stop Signage

KATS customers, and the traveling public, will begin to notice new bus stop signs. The new design will feature the updated blue and green cat logo which also mimics the shapes of green mountains and blue streams, representative of the area’s natural beauty. The sign shape will remain the same familiar circle but will be larger by two inches, and the vast majority of them, once installed, will be double-sided, meaning passengers will be able to identify bus stop locations much easier from either direction of travel.
